Complete industrial plant designed for the processing, shelling, drying, grading, sorting and packaging of nuts, integrating the different stages of the production process, from raw material reception and preparation through to the final packaged product. The plant operated within the food-processing industry, with a particular focus on the professional, Food Service and HORECA markets, and is configured to handle different types of nuts and various packaging formats.

Plant configuration
The plant comprises a range of industrial machinery, auxiliary equipment and interconnected conveying and product-handling systems, allowing the different stages of product processing to be carried out within a single installation.
The existing configuration includes, among others:

• Raw material reception, storage and feeding systems, designed for the controlled intake and movement of product throughout the line;
• Cleaning and preparation equipment, for removing impurities and preparing the raw material;
• Shelling and processing equipment, designed for the processing and shelling of pine nuts and other products compatible with the plant configuration;
• Drying systems, including a vertical oven for the initial drying stage and a separate oven for the final drying of the products;
• Grading and sorting systems, for product classification and separation;
• Optical sorting systems, designed to identify and reject non-conforming products and possible impurities;
• Conveying and lifting systems, including conveyors and elevators for transferring the product between the different processing stages;
• Weighing and dosing equipment, for preparing the required quantities prior to packaging;
• Packaging lines, suitable for different final-product formats;
• Structures, platforms, piping, aspiration systems and other auxiliary equipment associated with the operation of the plant.

Production process
The plant configuration integrates the main stages involved in the industrial processing of nuts:

1. Raw material reception and preparation
   Product intake, storage and controlled feeding into the processing line.


2. Cleaning and initial sorting
   Removal of dust, residues, foreign particles and other impurities from the raw material.


3. Shelling and processing
   Mechanical processing and shelling of the product, preparing it for the subsequent stages of the process.


4. Drying
   Drying is carried out in different stages, including a vertical oven for the initial stage and a final drying oven, depending on the product being processed.


5. Grading and classification
   Separation and classification of the product according to the required characteristics and dimensions.


6. Optical sorting and quality control
   Sorting systems are used to identify and separate non-conforming products and possible impurities.


7. Weighing, dosing and packaging
   Preparation, weighing and packaging of the finished product in different formats for subsequent distribution and sale.
